Concept design, renovation layouts and 3D visualisation.
Architectural design support for projects in Ashburton and Canterbury.
ARKiTek’s services cover concepts for homes, renovations, interiors, commercial spaces and rural projects. Start with the decisions you need help making, then agree the design scope and deliverables for your project.
Architectural concept design
Explore the layout, form and potential of a new space. Your priorities, site information and intended use give the concept a direction. Discuss how rooms connect, how people move through them and what matters most to the project.
The aim of the initial conversation is to identify the design support you need. Documentation, specialist input and consent requirements need separate confirmation as part of the scope.
Renovations and interior layouts
For an existing property, begin with what works and what does not. ARKiTek can discuss room arrangements, connections between spaces and interior changes that affect everyday use.
Existing plans, photographs and a description of the problem are useful starting points. Confirm what site information or assessment is needed before treating an early layout as a construction solution.
3D visualisation
Three-dimensional models help you discuss scale, materials and the feel of a space before decisions are finalised. Agree which views and level of detail will help your project, and how they fit into the wider design process.
The Moana concept for AKOSMS Homes is an example of the design work shown on this site. Concept imagery is illustrative; final materials, landscaping and project specifications may differ.
Electrical and lighting design thinking
Lighting and electrical requirements can be part of a layout discussion. Consider where activities happen, how lighting supports them and the electrical needs that should be coordinated with the design.
For electrical installation and service enquiries, visit Nomad Electrical. The design scope and installation work should be confirmed for your project.
